Ok, a 1964 Lafite and I wasn't expect too much on this as from what I read, Lafite didn't do well as she caught into the rain at the last week of harvest, but still, this is a treat to drink such an old one. Milky dark brownish core with light rim. Oh no, have this gone thru head damage or just oxidized? Strong soy sauce and stew fruits nose that completely dominated the nose. Palate wise, still alive but nothing much to offer. Quite creamy though, cedar, leather and tobacco intermixed with little blackberry fruits. Silky smooth with short finish.
