Friday, September 2, 2011 - Wonderful old wine in superb nick. Colour is holding well, light blood red with some mild browning, and the nose shows fragrant pretty raspberries and light red fruits. Quite lifted. Palate is more settled and less floral but super friendly. Old wood and barely any tannin points to some age. Some subtle spice, dried herbs and a dried grass character points a little to aged Rhone.
