Sunday, September 25, 2011 - Deep purple in color. Blackberries, licorice, some vanilla on the nose. The taste is more of the same. Blackberries followed by some mild blueberry, smoke and tar. The vanilla pops out during the finish. Well balanced acidity. Incredible wine for the price. Drank at The Melting Pot in Buffalo, NY.
