Gorgeous mature Médoc scent (a cedar-wood box lined with dark crimson velvet, containing a single, perfectly ripe, dark red fruit). Taste not quite so good. Slightly bitter, tannic entry; good sweetness on the mid-palate; grippy, over-mature, plummy, tannic finish. Fine match with tender braised beef.
