Sunday, October 23, 2011 - Boerne Wine Club - Zinfandel (Scenic Loop Cafe, San Antonio, TX): Decanted for 2hrs 12hrs prior then returned to bottle. Shy nose with roasted coffee, cassis, raspberry, and with a floral component of violets and roses. Concentrated palate with fine tannic structure, and purple styled smooth fruit. Hangs on the palate for a LONG time, adding some briary fruit and hint of toast. Massively concentrated, seamless and sophisticated. Needs many years to unwind. My WOTN 93-95
