Monday, November 21, 2011 - Ridge Monte Bello 1994-2000 Vertical with Eric Baugher (Handford Wines, London): Needed press wine to add structure to the wine. All four grapes used here. Dark red. Very open on the nose, herby , cedary with good fruit like a mid 90s palmer. 99 was a cooler year thus the wine feels more classical Bordeaux. Vibrant with good tannin. 13% alc. Mineral, elegant and very very good. 93+
