prior to having this wine, we had a barrolo, a greenock creek shiraz.
decantered the first bottle of St. Henri for about 10-20mins. The colour is intense ruby red and the legs were prominent though there was little if any taste of alcohol. The bouquet was strong with berries and a hint of chocolate. Upon the first taste, the full bodied nature of the wine comes through and this was followed by a spiciness that seems to become stronger with each mouthful. It is still a good wine by any standard though i must confess that i did not enjoy these 2 bottles as much as i did the previous ones.
