Saturday, December 17, 2011 - A bit corked, which resolved itself as much as it could after about 30 minutes. What was left was a mature wine with soft tannins and a full, thick body. I was disappointed in how fat and unfocused this wine had become. Sweet and syrupy, but still had nice depth and a good finish. I used to be very enthusiastic about this wine, but my enthusiasm had waned considerably. Drink these up if you own them.
