Thursday, April 7, 2011 - Rosella's stink on it. Still smelling like primary dark fruits. Plums and black cherries come to mind. Not my favorite and with my general aversion to Rosella's and SLH I was thinking I would dislike the wine. Well it ended up being a nice surprise. Big and dark fruit focused with a good balance of acid. Not crazy about the creamy finish but the wine is not blousy. Still showing as a big dark pinot. Very little heat. Tasty. I enjoyed.
