Saturday, December 24, 2011 - As is the case with so many Giacosa Riservas, the nose so beautiful... dried rose petals, earth and great complexity and depth. On the palate this was lush and rich, very big but also a touch cumbersome, asw if it was falling over itself – or had had some iffy storage at some point which made it a bit fragile. Overall, a delicious wine just not quite as brilliant as I had hoped.
