Tuesday, January 3, 2012 - On the nose, initial secondary sweat with a sweet almost floral perfume note cutting through. On the palate, smooth and quite lush mouthfeel after 30 minutes in the glass. Noticeable eucalyptus adds a brightness and complexity to a dark, resinous mid palate. Longish finish. A nice expression of cabernet. Dark and full bodied without being over oaked or over-engineered. While this will surely last for a number of years, it seems to be entering its peak drinking phase. 92+ points.
