Served with dinner. Opened and decanted for about two hours before serving. Followed over the next two hours.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of birch, black berries and black cherries. Flavors of black cherries, black berries and a tiny hint of cola on the finish. Medium acidity, medium tannins, full bodied. Drink now with some air or likely over the next 2 to 5 years plus or minus a bit.
