Saturday, January 21, 2012 - Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind alongside the Boursan 98 Cuvee Felix. Super ripe black and blue fruit on the nose. Lush, fat fruit on palate, lots of glycerin and concentration. Thoroughly ripe and seemingly very modern, this was fairly easy for the group to identify as Chateauneuf, but it is not my preferred style or even vintage of CDP, with quite pronounced heat from middle to finish.
