Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - Tasting Group Dinner - Northern Rhone and Burgundy (Fugaise, Minneapolis): Similar to the the 2001 Clos des Ruchottes that proceeded it in the flight. The nose was a bit muted at first, and this might have been a tad shut down. Rich red fruits, tobacco, and forest floor. Impressive concentration, balance, and structure for such a young wine. Very promising.
