Tuesday, February 7, 2012 - Sweet fruit forward, a bit jammy, not atypical of many Aussie shirazes, but the fruit is denser with greater complexity. Black and red cherries dominate, sweet palate. Tannins have settled and integrated well. Medium finish. Definitely in drinking window now and for probably few more years at least. Good wine but a bit too sweet for me. Overall, not sure it's worth the $70 I paid for this many years back.
