I could not get my nose out of the glass. Thick on the palate but not overbearing this goes down with ease. While teetering on the brink of overextraction, it never quites steps over the line - they nailed this one. This wine is quite tannic, but you'd hardly notice it. The finish is long and siky with the slightest hint of vanilla which in time, should integrate nicely. If you like toast, coffee, earthiness in your wine, this is the ticket.
