Sunday, March 18, 2012 - Popped and poured. Richard correctly ID'd the toasty roast coffee nose, and his note is spot on. The palate showed some sweetness but not much depth, or tension. It seemed well done and certainly a good price performer, and you know it is from Bordeaux which is a plus. In a nutshell this wine strikes me as simple but pleasurable in its category.
