84 Points

Friday, December 1, 2006 - Hans Krueger Selections (K&L Distributors): Very light, almost thin color of garnet. First impression of the nose was dominated by oak, and probably new American oak. As it opens, underripe raspberries, stemminess, and green bell pepper show through the oak. The palate does not reflect the nose, nor the color. Soft and medium bodied, this packs loads of warm spices, fresh raspberries, and still a large amount of oak and oak spice. Definitely softer in style than the first few Pinots tasted with no tannins whatsoever and exceptional balance of acidity. Pretty much everything except the nose was enjoyable. 84-86
