The wine has an extraordinary dark hue (reminded me of 2000 Montrose), medium weight. Still tight and I would think would age wonderfully. Good fruit, but not as much as some others in similar range. Really has excellent balance. However, the wine clearly faded by the second day, so I worry a bit about holding up long term.
