Saturday, December 23, 2006 - Dark purple with loads of sediment. The nose is rather restrained, but eventually yielded notes of violets and mint intermixed with the darker fruit. The palate was equally dark and brooding, backed by a mineral/ slate note. 3+ hours of decanting is recommended.
