Thursday, July 12, 2012 - I opened this wine at 3pm and consumed at 8pm. Slow ox method. On opening I took a small taste and you could tell this is just a perfectly aged wine. Still showing primary fruit but starting to develop a floral note that is just amazing. The color was deep red with no bricking at the edge. For me this is a wonderful mix of new world power (more so than the 98') and old world finesse. The nose was pure lavendar and the palate was sure balanced. Tasty juice. Drink or hold.
