Saturday, July 28, 2012 - Starting to transition into a more full lemon color. Nose is exceedingly round, like a ripe, juicy peach, with a little note of green apple and citrus. Palate goes completely in the other direction, with a very strong expression of minerality combined with a spicy, ginger twist. This is underpinned by acidity that, while still noticable, is starting to mellow and integrate more nicely. Finishes rapidly, but all-in-all a very solid wine from this perennially reliable producer.
