93 Points

Tuesday, January 9, 2007 - Dinner at Vermont in Los Feliz with Frank D. and Michael C. Frank brought the wine from his personal cellar as we discussed mutual business. Opened and decanted at the table, split betwen the three of us. Not enough to go around. Soft and subtle, with some tannins still peaking out. Fruit was recessed, but present. Terroir very forward in the wine. Not a blockbuster, but a truly enjoyable mature Bordeaux. And that label from Keith Haring. What an artist. I took the cork home to throw into my collection.
