92 Points

Thursday, August 30, 2012 - This now the third bottle of 2004 Gaston Chiquet that we have consumed in the past month. While this is still very young, it is still an extremely tasty champagne today. Wonderful acidity with white flowers, salty minerality, oranges, tangerines, white bread, and a touch of cream greet you on the palate. The fruit is also incredibly pure and ripe at the same time. As this integrates over time it has the chance in my mind to become one of the best Gaston Chiquet champagnes made to this point. It is well worth its $50+ price point.
