Saturday, October 6, 2012 - 6th Oct 2012:
kicked off the dinner with this wine and followed up with a Cyril Henschke CabSav 1996.

Decantered for 20mins.
The colour is red with a hint of brown; not many legs. This wine though still nice seem to age much faster than i anticipated. The nose is less aromatic with every bottle i consume and leads me to believe that i should accelerate my consumption rate less it speeds past its 'best by' date sooner than expected.

there is a lack of freshness and the age of the wine is apparent not that it has become more balanced but that you know it has aged...

Nonetheless, still a good wine.....
