Monday, October 29, 2012 - a pleasant surprise -- i expect this is "bottle to bottle" at this point, but this one was hanging in there and really opened up with a little warmth and air. cork looked disgusting, but the wine came through. surprisingly youthful, with some apricot fruit still there behind some lovely minerality. textbook rhone white for me, with a little extra flint character. long finish.
