While barely identifiable as pinot noir, this is very rich with slick and glossy cherry fruit and vanilla, and even at 14.3, still a bit hot. It denies any sense of place, and invests only in a model of manufactured profile that says more about economic agenda than it does wine. For the record, my wife loves it. For me, obvious spoof-a-licious.
