Thursday, November 15, 2012 - 11/14/12: The fourth time to consume this wine, since December 2010. Many similar characteristics as prior tastings. On the nose, there are aromas of butterscotch, butter, toasted oak, minerals. In the mouth, flavors of sweet lemon, pineapple, toasty oak. There is sweetness on the tongue. Velvety and rich in the mouth. Excellent acid and balance. A long, smooth, oak-like finish. A decent pairing with Turbot, but I really prefer a Loire white with Turbot. Sumptuous stuff.
