Wednesday, November 21, 2012 - Opened 4 hrs prior to tasting. Bright and expressive on the nose and palate though with a nice touch of fatness, presumably from the roussanne. Notes of lemon chiffon, pears, peaches, honeysuckle, vanilla, and minerals abound but are well contained within its excellent structure. The excellent weight and richness are nicely counter balanced by good acidity. Thins just a bit at the end but the finish has very good length. Shows good overall complexity presently and the stuffing to age a bit. Very compelling white for the price. Happy to have a case.
