Five of us quickly finished a 2004 Silvio Nardi Brunello so I opened this and for 1/3 the price this wine was everything the Brunello should have been. On the nose it had that classic Tuscan earthy note with cherry fruit. Nice acidity balanced the palate and the ripe fruit was touched with spicy notes. Excellent.
