Tuesday, February 13, 2007 - A very dark cab, full of color; thins to a rose at the edge. A lush cedar bouquet, but a disturbing pulpy, musty deadened leaf smell is apparent. Boysenberry as well, along with sweet strawberry. The taste is lacking in complexity and structure. A mineral tartness is retained even after an hour of decanting. It is a very smooth drinking wine but I am very disappointed. I can only assume that this wine is past its prime. For the money I would never buy it again.
