Saturday, December 22, 2012 - Wishniak cherry nose. Herbaceous, resinous flavors underneath a cherry blackberry taste. A nice cocoa finish without any sweetness. Has supple tannins, smooth and very easy to drink. It just doesn't have a lot of complexity or depth. Pretty easy medium body and quite dry. 13% ABV but no burn to it. A little sediment in the bottle & some crystals. Minimum of 30 minutes to open. After 2.5-3 hours a lot of the initial fruit and cocoa finish is lost. Fades, but still holds ok.
