Sunday, December 23, 2012 - Quite deep lemony color. Oak dominates the nose with creamy notes, vanilla powder, wood and tropical fruit. There was also a slight varnish aroma. Still very youthfull. Full bodied with medium acidity, creamy mouthfeel and clean aftertaste. Heavily oaked with use of new oak but if you like the style it was good. More like a California Chardonnay.
