Tuesday, January 1, 2013 - 65% Cab Sauv, 25% Cab Franc, 7% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot. 14.8% alc. Silky and elegant. Tasted it blind and although my first guess was Napa Cab, I wouldn't have been surprised if it was a full bodied California Grenache or some such thing because I didn't sense it had the density or tannins I'd expect in a Napa Cab. Luscious with high toned fruit. Outstanding, but I think I prefer the flavor profile of the Estate bottling - especially if it's a bit more affordable.
