Friday, March 16, 2007 - Deep ruby color with a hint of tawny. Only very slight deposit in the bottle. Nose of dry herbs, rosemary, lavander and thyme, sweet blackberries and smoke, with elements of cassis and pencil lead. On the palate this is full bodied and silky, almost meaty, with residual tannins. I think this has a few years to go yet.
