Wednesday, March 6, 2013 - Drank this at a tasting presented by Jean-Louis Chave, who confirmed that this wine is 100% Rousanne. Drinking well, with forward fruit & excellent balance - brighter if not technically more acidic than the Hermitage blanc. Unclear whether this is a keeper - Chave professes that he "does not yet understand" this wine, one of the reasons it is presented as a Chave selection, even though the grapes are sourced from his own vinyards.
