Wednesday, May 29, 2013 - Like previous notes, nose is a bit subdued, but lifts with a nice swirl. Really nice bouquet of tobacco, candied cherry, orange liqueur, mint, cinnamon, clove, and mineral. The palate shined here. Very nice fruit with smooth broad entry, strong midpalate, and pleasing finish. The flavors on the finish mirror those of the nose. Clearly shows the warmth of the year with its expressive fruit and body, but never comes across as rich or heavy.
