Saturday, June 1, 2013 - With slices of breaded pork in tomato sauce, potato gratin, spinach and courgette confit.

Dine and wine for different seasons? This seemed too heavy and heated for early summer. Fairly familiar perfume of blue and black berries with definite earth underneath.

Admirable balance and length but like a too warm dessert after a heavy meal. Actually overall experience improved a little with chocolate fondant ice cream though maybe this was the cocoa infusion.

Second bottle will perhaps produce a winning winter's tale.
