Sunday, June 30, 2013 - Popped and poured. Medium deep gold with greenish highlights. Slightly cloudy; not an overwhelming nose but tropical fruits and citrus. On the palate - very intense with deep fruit and sparklingly acidity and perhaps a bit of heat; finish goes on forever, this is almost painful in its intensity, like a great Corton-Charlemagne but with very ripe California fruit and yet completely dry. Very impressive but on its own not that enjoyable.
