Saturday, July 6, 2013 - Not quite as good as out of a magnum but still fantastic. Amazing nose right out of the bottle with a deep red color. Nice mix of fruit and aged character as well. This estate is my favorite and this vintage is well worth seeking out specifically. You can't go wrong. With cult Napa cabs fetching $500 and up a bottle, Montelena Estate at $125 or less is a great value for what you get.
