Thursday, July 11, 2013 - Served right from a magnum on a hot and somewhat humid night. The first bottle was drop-dead gorgeous, integrating already though will clearly benefit from age. Notes of tar, coffee and cassis joined together with velvety tannins. Lush and giving. By the time we had the second bottle, conditions seemed to shut it down a bit, adding a slightly acidic note. All in all a great performance from a wine that merit 2 or more points down the line.
