Friday, July 12, 2013 - This is kind of a new world take on Italian/Tuscan Cabernet. Still dark purple. Clearly, this wine has had plenty of the high end treatment regarding elevage and oak exposure. The oak is fully integrated. Muted nose. Kind of chewy. Definitely has cassis as well as bell pepper. Firm tannins and zippy acidity. This wine is drinking very well now and will hold for years to come. This wine has stuffing!
