Wednesday, July 24, 2013 - Outstanding wine. Opened about 2 hours before dinner and poured a glass, rest aired in the bottle. On opening, very intense, very ripe fruit. At the 2 hour mark, very nice and balanced, rich fruit framed by hints of oak, coffee, and a lot of earthiness. My wife correctly called my attention to some floral scents on the nose, very pretty. Still dusty tannins. Quite robust. Finish is long and smooth with the dark fruit becoming most pronounced. A beauty.
