Tuesday, August 6, 2013 - Opened up a little with time after a decant. Nose of cherry and red and black fruit. Had an off aroma of mineral/metal. A simple palate of black fruit and earth complimented our meal of red met and risotto. I don't think I would enjoy this wine so much as a stand alone.
