Friday, September 13, 2013 - Deep crimson red with ruby hue. Dominant nose of cherries, red fruits shrouded in vanilla American oak. An opulent & elegant scent rounds out the senses. Pleasantly sweet on the initial, medium on contact. Effortless blend of ripe dark fruit flavours, fine French oak nuances and very light tannins that makes for a complex and layered palate. Overall an elegant palate that develops a nicely-rounded texturally rewarding mouthfeel. A symphony of absolutely seamless transition and exquisite balance that reaches a crescendo with a full and persistent finish. An exquisite wine, best drunk on its own for one to appreciate its full potential.
