Friday, September 13, 2013 - Wow! Coming along nicely. Deep red-purple, almost opaque. All smoke and blueberry flavors. Terrific warm vintage fruit that is almost sweet with underlying cool climate herbal notes and textures. Rich mouth feel but completely balanced with integrated tannins. Papa's Block is always my top Carlisle syrah and this may be the best one yet.
