Thursday, September 19, 2013 - Wow - so delicious. Opened and decanted for a few hours and decided to have it for Thursday Night football game. This is what a 12 year old Bordeaux should taste like. It was terrific. Silkiness from the merlot that is the majority of this wine. Tannins were present but smooth. Nice dark berry flavors and nice toastiness. The wine starts out fantastic and travels the palate beautifully. The finish never seems to end. Alas, this was my last bottle :-( This could age longer I suppose, but it seems pretty spot on right now. So why wait. Open and enjoy!!!!
