Saturday, October 12, 2013 - Textbook Bordeaux! This is NOT ready - unless you're willing to decant. ;) Give it an hour in the decanter and watch it evolve in your glass over the next two. Initially a bit lighter than I expected, it put on weight with the decant. As I said, textbook bordeaux - earthy with dusty tannins, some leather and an ever evolving array of smells and flavors. Plenty of fruit with no sweetness. Very nicely balanced. Drink now and over the next 10 years.
