Loads of "turkish pepper" (the danish candy "tyrkisk peber" is a very strong bonbon with pepper, licorice, salt etc.) on the nose. Tastewise it has some sweet and intense red berries, but also loads of spices and a peculiar amount of more exotic fruit. Turns somewhat bitter and alcoholic in the aftertaste. Clearly a "victim" of the hot year, I liked the 2001 much better.
