Friday, November 8, 2013 - Dark purple, medium bodied. Nose of plums, licorice and tobacco, sweet dark fruit. Smooth on the palate, but a touch light and restrained. Smooth tannins and some spice on the finish. Nice overall, although a little less full-bodied than I would have liked. Perhaps that would be found in the grand vin? That is beyond my budget unfortunately.
